Ok, let’s be honest, when it comes to using quality image and graphics on Instagram for realtors, the bar is pretty low. I will say, over the past number of years it has gotten exceptionally better, for those who cannot commit and or have no interest in doing it themselves, they’ve hired services (good or bad). It makes sense, many don’t know where to look/have the time/or quite honestly care - a quick google image search and off you post. If you’ve spent some time learning various apps or services like Canva, they at least pull from various free image services which helps tremendously, the only caveat, many will grab the first thing they find.

If you’re taking the time to seek out images or graphics for a post, chances are you care enough about your content and have time-blocked for it. If so, I encourage you to split your time between writing the copy and seeking out high-quality images. And don’t jump on the first thing you come across, go deeper, beyond page one and seek out images that not only seem painfully less staged, but those that can fit with your brand.
Social media is an important extension of your business and visual appeal matters, and your Instagram visual presence is a great way to communicate the value of your service (or, the complete opposite).
Consistent use of high-quality images and graphics reinforce your brand identity, create better engagement, forming greater connections. It’s a lost opportunity if you don’t put in the effort.
